The Role of Video Content Design in Live Shows has changed significantly in the last two decades.

We have seen the rise of the Media Server combined with the cost of Screens, both LED and Projectors, continue to drop.  Video screens were once typically a supplemental add-on whereas now those screens are a foundational element to entertainment design.  How do production designers feel about their roles in this change?

Projection Design/Content Design – how do these disciplines interact with Scenic and Lighting Design in building out the visual landscape of a live event? And how will this relationship evolve in the move to Virtual Production?
